'LAST OF HIS KIND'

'Last of His Kind' is an uncompromising feature film by director Omar Shargawi, capturing the Palestinian experience with authenticity and depth. The film seeks to raise global awareness, challenge misconceptions, and amplify the Palestinian voice in the struggle against occupation, injustice and the extinction of a land and its people.

With a complete manuscript and a powerful story ready to be brought to life, we hope you'll join us in making this project a reality.

The Story

"Last of His Kind" follows two lives on opposite sides of the same catastrophe, one unfolding beneath the bombs of Gaza, the other within the quiet complicity of a European city. Separated by distance but bound by blood, both are confronted with loss, erasure, and the question of what can still be saved.

The film resists reducing Gaza to destruction alone. It insists on showing people in their full complexity - humorous, frightened, proud, loving, and above all, alive - so that the humanity beneath the headlines cannot be looked away from.
